-Lore in A Minute-

"Lore in a Minute" is a series of animated videos summarizing the backstories and world-building of popular media franchises in TV, film, anime, gaming, etc. These are a few examples of the over 200 Lore videos I have written. Enjoy!

-"Mash Up" and "God Mode"-

For Polaris Animation I wrote several of these videos. The most popular proved to be "Five Nights at Woody's" but I could only find its Spanish fan-dub still online.

Check 'em out.

-Lore Live at PAX East-

I also wrote dozens of "Mash Up" scripts for "Lore in a Minute!" panels at PAX East. Panelists guessed, based on my scripting, which popular franchises had been combined, for example:

"Voltrontourage" or "Rick and Mortal Kombat". Check out several scripts in this fun cheatsheet for the host.

-Monster Almanac-

In 2016, Polaris and Maker Studios contracted me to write a monster-hunting web pilot for popular streamer Commander Holly.

Feast your eyes on...

"Monster Almanac".

-Friend Zone-

Maker Studios' weekly program in which streamers played classic video games in kigurumi onesies. In lieu of commercial breaks, I wrote 3 sketches a week for the host and various guests to perform. The videos are scattered, but you can read a few of the simplified scripts here.

-Multiplayer-

For Polaris and SlingTV I wrote a game show called Multiplayer. I developed the 3 round game structure and the script format, then wrote 26 episodes. Here you can read a few of the scripts as the videos are behind a paywall somewhere.

-The Fantastic Four-

A few years ago, Josh Trank revived Marvel's Fantastic Four in film. The disappointing reception of the film inspired me to retool the FF as a TV drama. Click the Ben Grimm Jack o' Lantern to read the first two acts of my just-for-fun adaptation.

-Squatch and the City-

Join lovable young sasquatch Sandy Walsh as she chops off her all-over locks, enrolls in beauty school and lives incognito in Bethlehem, PA in search of junk food and gossip mags. Check out a dozen pages of this spec TV pilot.

-The Book Was Better-

When down-on-his-luck Rob spends his last dime to job hunt in a newly gentrified neighborhood, he'll be forced to earn a buck the old-fashioned way: in an armed robbery. Unfortunately, he chose a Mom and Pop bookstore with six bucks in the till and the owner has just had a heart attack. Read the Cold Open of my spec pilot.

-Spaceline Infinity-

Meek engineer, Mark Ekman, has dreamed for years of building great, star-spanning machines, of bringing the cosmos that much closer to the common man. Unfortunately, his billionaire benefactor's messy divorce has shut down their spaceline dream indefinitely. To get these birds off the ground, Mark will have to stand up to price-gouging vendors, eccentric engineers, the Governor of Arizona, and even... his mother.

-Daily Byte-

I wrote for the online news show Daily Byte where popular streamers shared gaming, comic, and pop culture news. Four days a week, I provided scripting for (3) news stories and punched up scripts from other writers. I have no idea if the videos exist anywhere.
